According to ESPN.com, the New York Mets have officially agreed to sell 49% of their team to David Einhorn for a reported $200 million.
Specifics aren’t known, but what is known is that Einhorn is only purchasing a minority stake, and he will not have ownership of the team’s stake in SNY, the television network that is currently owned by the Mets.
