Fantasy Baseball MLB Player News — 26 May 2011
According to Andrew Marchand via Twitter, New York Yankees relief pitcher Rafael Soriano is expectef to miss roughly 6-8 weeks due to elbow soreness.
Soriano has experienced inflammation and soreness and probably could use a break with an ERA of 5.40.
Fantasy Analysis
This isn’t a major hit to your fantasy squad since Soriano could have been playing a lot better, but make note of it and find a replacement if he was on your roster. He probably won’t need significant surgery and should be back in a couple months. Hopefully by then he can gain some consistency on the mound.
