Milwaukee Brewers Third Baseman Casey McGehee was the hero Wednesday afternoon, hitting three home runs and registering five RBI in an impressive 10-5 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The win put Milwaukee 3.5 games ahead of second place.

Fantasy Analysis

While the performance was clutch and a random fantasy explosion, it’ll likely be the one and only truly rewarding moment for McGehee owners in 2011. Before his three-homer bash today, McGehee had cranked out just five homers on the entire year, and was overall a disappointment.

Don’t get overly excited about this huge game. It was swell, but McGehee isn’t a fantasy asset.
