Pitchers are the most oft-injured players in baseball. However, this isn’t a reason to wait on them, but rather a reason to take a stud veteran like Roy Halladay, Justin Verlander, or C.C. Sabathia who are consistent producers and past the 24 year-old injury threshold. Starting Pitchers decrease in value almost exponentially, and it’s very difficult to get more than 2 sure bets in the draft, while still constructing a solid offense.
